See that boy doing his homework in homeroom? He couldn’t do it last night because he was too busy talking his best friend out of suicide. See that girl, with her face caked in make up? She’s bullied, she needs to feel beautiful. See him, the one who wears long sleeves everyday? He covers his arms to hide the scars. See her, with the cheap, hand-me-down clothes? Her family can’t afford food for half the month, let alone get brand names. See the girl who laughs and smiles at every little thing? She cries herself to sleep every night. Wonder why she never lets her friends over her house? Because she’s afraid they’ll see her dad passed out drunk on the floor, as always. See how that girl cringes at rape jokes? She was raped. See the boy who everyone goes to for advice? He wishes someone would do the same for him. See the girl who never brings a lunch? She’s disgusted by her body. See her, with the little waist? The truth of the lukewarm.
OK so something that the Lord has really laid on my heart for the past couple if weeks in about being “lukewarm”…..what is lukewarm might u ask? well i looked it up in the dictionary and this is what it said luke·warmadj. 1. Mildly warm; tepid.2. Lacking conviction or enthusiasm; indifferent….so this comes to the verse in revelation3:16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth……………….soooo lukewarm makes my God so sick He want to spit you out…uh oh!:(….Lukewarm christians are the ones that call themselves christians but their action to not show christ through them…need scripture? sure:) 1 Corinthians 5:11 But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat………….so from this verse we see that God doesn’t even want us to EAT with those that say they are christians but are evidently lukewarm….so it makes him sick, and he doesnt even want us eating with them? um…pretty serious i think…and last verse i want to point out to you is Matthew7:21-23 21”Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’…………..ok so now u might be confused…what he is saying is that all these people (the lukewarm christians) will come before him in judgement day and say Lord we did all this stuff. we said the prayer and we get saved and did all the things isnt that enough? and he said ONLY THOSE WHO DO THE WILL OF MY FATHER IN HEAVEN!!! and he says to them away from me i NEVER knew you. you never had a relationship with him…..so if you have a relationship with Him and you strive to do the will of the father then u will enter into the kingdom….but i would examine yourself and see and ask yourself do i really know this God like i should…….i leave you with this! I Pray the Holy Spirit speaks to every person the reads this and i pray that they will examine thier realtionship with the Father because He longs for you to know him! In Jesus Christ Name i pray! AMEN! love you guys!:)
Random me and wonderful friends!
Well im sitting in Ashton’s room and just looking at all the posts that everyone has made…and i can honestly say i am <3loved<3. my friends here are awesome and i truly enjoy their company!! im so glad i have been able to get to know these folks. we all come from everywhere form the ghetto of Georgia to the ghetto of Chicago to the country of good old west Tennessee! :) i love them and am so glad i have been able to poor out Jesus’s love to all you guys and been able to be myself! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the cooper crew:):) i love you guys!!
